Artist Bio: MonaLisa Smile

Straight out of Chicago and new to the world of Hip Hop, MonaLisa Smile is bringing infusions of Pop and Neo-Soul through her heartfelt lyrics and deep music that resonates right through you. MonaLisa Smile was a young girl who became inspired to make music after watching her brother and his group MADD CORR perform; she always loved poetry and had a knack for writing, and soon, she became brave enough to weave her words into zesty and flavorful music. Compared to stars like Remy Ma, Trina, and Macy Grey, MonaLisa Smile brings authenticity and raw honesty to her music. In her free time, she hangs out with her sons and grandchildren.

 She also associates herself with the Urban Redemption Chicago project – right now, she’s working on producing a documentary that highlights the societal violence in Chicago and the pain it leaves behind in its wake. She’s also working as a manager and has three music projects that are set to be released from August onwards. She’s also working on her own ep titled “Portrait Of Me” that features her hot new single “C’Mer”. Fiery, bold and down to earth, we can’t wait to see what more MonaLisa Smile has in store for us!
