LAWRENCE “BIG LAW” LOGGINS

A Seed grows into a strong tree only after it has risen from the dirt and endured the hardships life and growth has cast upon it.

This moment in time has seemed as if the World has stopped. There will be no more jokes while eating cravin wings, deep conversations about religion, politics, how to be a good Father, Race, nor business in America. Englewood has had a dark cloud over her since your untimely departure but the sun shall shine again.

Your were a pillar of strength, beacon of peace, An Ambassandor speaking to corporate America that residents of Englewood deserve legit employment within the construction industry. You were my Big Brother!!

The media will always speak of allegations of wrong doings to discredit your growth, writing an article in the Sun-Times speaking of your past, relatives, and other individuals. I will speak up for you in this matter just as you stood up for Englewood. Your past was just that, PAST! Your past was no different than Joseph P. Kennedy Sr. or Jay-z but yet theirs isn’t spoken of to bring dirt to their legacy and embarrassment to their family, friends, and loved ones.

YOU ARE AND WERE A MAN OF HONOR, RESPECT, AND HIGH INTEGRITY. YOU MY BROTHER, WERE A RAY OF LIGHT IN A DARK ROOM. YOUR LIGHT SHINED BRIGHT ILLUMINATING EVERYONE WHO CAME IN CONTACT WITH YOU.

Englewood is our home and you stood Strong for her by never leaving nor turning your back on her unlike so many others. You had great ideas of opening a Community Center for children to have a safe place to play, donating to food pantries to help feed the homeless, and many more of your ideas were positive and great. It would’ve made Englewood and its voiceless residents a proud, Strong, and loving Community. I would like to thank the most high creator for granting me the opportunity to have spoke with you about the positive things concerning Englewood.

REST WELL BIG BRO

Thank You!! Lawrence is my cousin!! Since the Sun Times article has written an article with so little facts, it’s made him look like someone he definitely was not! He was an example to anyone who made mistakes in their youth! He was a man, a father, a son, a brother, a cousin, a friend, and a businessman, he employed people from Englewood. He was LOVED!! And he will be sorely missed by his family!
