Alonna DeVille II

Jasmine Steward, professionally known as Alonna DeVille, was born May 28th, 1988 at Engalls Hospital in Harvy IL. Raised in Markham, IL and various suburban cities surrounding Chicago, as she moved around a lot during her child hood. Her talents were recognized and developed at a young age. From the age of 4 she was in the church choir and eventually a soloists. She began recoding with an independent label as a group by the name of Rich Territory. Alonna then branched out to become a solo artist performing at local night clubs and gained a buzz. She dropped mix tape Mz. DeVille a Kill a Track in 2011. Won a competition at Checkerboard Lounge. Has performed at Secrets night club, Addriannas, The Zone, Gloria’s (opening for AK of Do or Die and John Blue), The Checkerboard Lounge, The Rap Factory, Traveled to Wisconsin working with the “Get Emm Girls” and more. Hosted events at Cafe Lura and Club Karma “Who Hotter Den Us Competitions”. She was captured in several blogs about her hard work. Her song “Stillettos” was ranked 4 in the top 5 in “In The Streetz Magazine”. She worked with Young Creative Minds, a youth outreach organization by Danette King. From there they did nonprofit shows for underprivileged youth, Job Corp. With her interest in social work and human rights she Marched along side Erica Kane protesting racial profiling in Chicago. She was then nominated for the people’s choice award for the Midwest Urban Music Awards. Also received recognition for best music video “Lil Mama Bad” for the 2014 CMVA (Chicago Music Video Awards). At the end of 2015 Alonna signed to Beastly Music group and has been on the rise since..the future looks bright.
