THE BLACK PANTHER – T’Challa
The Black Panther is the King of the African nation of Wakanda, as well as it’s warrior an protector. It is a mantle passed down from father to son. The current holder of the The Black Panther mantle is T’Challa. T’Challa is one of the four smartest men in the entire Marvel Universe, and he is also the richest man in the M.U. He is a master physicist and a master of technological science.
He is a master of all forms of martial arts, including the Wakandan style of martial arts which is not know to the rest of the world, thus making him the greatest fighter in the M.U. T’Challa has single handedly defeated both the Fantastic Four and The Avengers on numerous occasions; and both he and his father T’Chakah as Black Panther, have defeated Captain America on numerous occasions.
The nation of Wakanda is the most technologically advanced and environmentally clean nation in the Marvel Universe. The nation possesses vast amounts of a rare metal known as Vibranium, which can only be found in Wakanda. This rare metal is nearly indestructible an can absorb an conduct all forms of energy, and is used by the Wakandan’s in all their forms of technology. Wakanda is the only nation on earth that has never been invaded conquered or colonized by any other nation. Wakanda is a peaceful democratic nation with only one rule…DO NOT CROSS THEIR BOARDERS!!!
The Black Panther is an enhanced human. Due to his ingestion of a rare herb that is only found in Wakanda, as well as his spiritual connection to The Panther God, Black Panther has enhanced strength (able to lift up to 15 tons), enhanced speed (can run over 50 miles an hour), enhanced agility stamina and durability.
T’Challa is also a humanitarian and philanthropist, and the Wakandan nation has donated to many nations across the world in the Marvel Universe.
At one point T’Challa was married to the mutant Ororo Monroe aka STORM from the X-MEN, and together they ruled Wakanda as King and Queen.
