Toon, born Phillip Dupree, 26, and his 62-year-old grandmother were both shot in the head in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood around 2:40 p.m. Toon was pronounced dead at the scene. The grandmother was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition.
